GXO Logistics

GXO Escort

Task: Our team was tasked with creating an interactive experience for a high-profile industry event. Leadership requested that it provide an immersive overview of who our company is, what we do, and the clientele that we serve.

Challenge: For this event, our events team hired a vendor who specializes in interactive displays and event booths, but wanted a more intuitive, self-guided experience that would allow guests to learn about GXO’s capabilities.

Solution: I created a high-fidelity prototype in Figma that was connected to the touchscreen display provided by the vendor, as well as an iPad version that was displayed on tabletop. With simple and intuitive navigation, the prototype walks users through the industries we serve, our capabilities, and case study examples.

Landing pages for GXO events

Task: We create many landing pages each year for Customer Engagement events. These include online RSVP forms, event itineraries, and attendee bios.

Challenge: We previously designed these kinds of landing pages directly in Salesforce, but the support for custom CSS was extremely limited, which greatly restricted design.

Solution: I designed and developed a website specifically for Customer Engagement.

GXO website

Task: Working in a cross-functional team of marketing leadership, developers, and other designers, I created wireframes and a hi-fidelity prototype of the new homepage for GXO.com, and worked with developers to publish the new home page.

Challenge: My biggest challenge was advocating for the user throughout this project, and communicating user needs and current best practices to internal stakeholders who were unfamiliar with UX theory.

Solution: I communicated usability concerns/solutions and best practices that result in higher rates of task completion. In order to keep scope creep in check, I created a project scope bullseye to document wants and needs, and am now referring back to that as we enter the next phase of iteration.

Animated web ads

Task: Translate English web ads designed by an outside agency and create additional versions for French, Spanish, Italian, and German languages.

Challenge: The outside agency was unable to provide their working files with us.

Solution: Using the provided HTML files, I switched out the English copy for each language in Dreamweaver, adjusting the CSS to accomodate varying line lengths of text.

GXO Customer Engagement website

A passion project: Our team is constantly being asked by the sales team to create marketing ad hoc marketing materials. In an effort to better existing resources and organize work streams, I created an internal website with marketing materials for the sales team to download, brand guidelines, presentation templates, and a link to request additional material that has not already been created.

Printed marketing materials

In addition to digital products, I have designed a large supply of printed brochures, whitepapers, signage, and presentations.

Digital marketing content for social media

Task: Design digital content that showcase GXO’s industry expertise across social media networks

Challenge: The biggest challenge for these was finding the “sweet spot” between content-heavy case study material and memorable snippets of information.

Solution: Following recent data on social media engagement, I created a series of carousel ads with 5-8 slides each that focus on current market trends and challenges for each of our verticals.
